The Lag of First Flight Couriers

First Flight Couriers is a dependable organization for small condignments. But for big consignments, the security of the article, even if duly insured, should earn a dubious reputation. On 15.3.2006 I sent a computer from Kolkata (consignment No. E 1 8 7 7 8 3 7 1 dt. 15.3.06) to my son living at Chennai. It was delivered in a damaged state. I submitted a claims letter on 19.3.2006. All the relevant papers were submitted by 24.4.06. Since then I am sending reminders, but nothing has been told about. It seems they are passing the buck from one to other, and to their "big boss". As I am a septuagenarian, a retired man, it is now seeming to be impossible to get a compensation of Rs.3000/-. It may be mentioned that the consignment was insured for Rs.40,000/-. Should you not think twice before sending any such article through this courier?
